Fresh Dubstep Crushes LA

A few upcoming producers released a few tracks that are hitting the dubstep scene in Los Angeles, producers like Doom trooper, and N-Type.

ive posted a few videos to a couple nasty tracks.

And now we have the dub step track of Fall '10, Deadmau5's remix "Raise Your Weapon" its a choon that can be on repeat for hours, definitely sticking to joel's progressive structure but unfolds into a cataclysm of wicked dubstep wobbles.

Better Than Good Enough

Recently watched the july released documentary on the hottest rapper of 2010 DRAKE, called "Better Than Good Enough". Im glad i found a reason to write about the young lyrisist that everyone is currently obsessed with.

Aubrey "Drake" Graham's "Thank Me Later" sold half a million copies in its first week. making it the third most sold album of the year. Working with the most influential artists of this generation, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, E40, Birdman, and many more.

The 14 track album sent drakes career skyrocketing, and received some very large opportunities. like performing at the 2010 VMA's, as well as a country wide tour.

"The Empire"

Well its been a long time coming since "The Empire" which is a two track EP, was to be released by Kappa, one of the many new electro artists hailing from Honolulu, Hawaii. The EDM scene in the islands have definitely become much more known, as well as diverse in the selections of music.

"I named this EP, "the empire" just because this feels like this ep is the first stepping stone to building this sound that I'm aiming for, you know?, moving towards growing my sound empire (laughs)"

MACBOOK PRO

Just got the 13.3 Macbook Pro finally.

Running Serato, Logic, And Reason Now on this thing and it is a beast. I can see why High end DJ's chose this specific family of MacBooks. the overall quality is great, i ordered it off of the apple website, refurbished for around 1650 bucks. I've heard from a lot of people that Buying refurbished is good as new. And i was a skeptic of the condition, thinking it was going to be scratched up, but i was very surprised, and it could have fooled me if someone said its new.

the packaging of all the products were very promising, a box with molded foam around laptop, wrapped in a plastic sheet. Also included was a box containing an A/C power cord, Regular Charger, Restore discs, And two Booklets.

If you haven't already got a macbook pro already i definitely suggest it to everyone.

it seems like a very reliable and promising piece of equipment.

its been far too long since i've updated the website. But i promise i will make up for lost ground over the week.

posting a couple fresh tracks, and give you a few updates of whats going on in the electronic scene.

I can definitely say that this summer has had some of the illest tracks released. from Deadmau5's Strobe to Datsik's Hydraulic. ive been recently following on deadmau5's twitter account and seen that he collapsed at a show due to exhaustion. I guess wearing a felt covered mouse head for long periods of time makes a person pass out. GET WELL MAU5!
